Condor 150-3HF

• XYZTEC has developed a new test system called the CONDOR 150-3HF which is capable of measuring forces up to 400 Kgf.

• Based upon the original CONDOR 150-3, the new CONDOR 150-3HF utilises a special Y-stage able to support the higher (400 Kgf) shear forces and an optional Z-stage for push/pull forces up to 400 Kgf.

• This makes the new Condor 150-3HF highly qualified for testing power modules.

Features

• The travel distance is 150 mm for the X,Y stage and 190 mm for the Z stage. An optional Z-stage assembly is able to support up to 400 kgf push/pull testing. Included with the Condor 150-3HF are the mounting interface for the work holder, 2 joysticks and Windows based software with Macro Editor. The Condor 150-3HF uses the standard XYZTEC measurement unit interface.

• Operator safety:

  The higher forces require more extensive safety precautions. Both photos show the Condor 150-3HF fitted with an optional safety cover which also offers both flexibility and ease of use. This safety cover has two sliding front doors, fitted with independent safety switches and the ability to slide the whole cover to the back of the system to aid the exchange of a tool, test sample or work holder. The safety switches ensure that the tester will stop testing, should either of the doors be left opened or the cover be moved backwards.

• Condor 150-3HF base

XPC031503: Condor 150-3HF base with very rigid construction and a Y-stage that is qualified for 400 Kgf shear testing.

• Optional Z-stage:

XPC013003: Z-stage motor assembly for Condor 150-3HF. This option is required for push/pull tests up to 400 Kgf.

• Special measurement units:

XMS011000: Shear Measurement Unit (SMU) 400 kgf. This unit is developed for shear forces up to 400 Kgf.

XML011000: Lift Measurement Unit (LMU) 400 Kgf. This unit is developed for push/pull forces up to 400 Kgf.

For both measurement units tools are not included. For high forces customized tools are required. Customized work holders are needed for forces above 200 Kgf and are dependant on the type of samples to be tested.
